I am back to blogging after a brief hiatus. The business of life, combined with the strange issues of Norton Anti-virus which keeps shutting down my internet, has kept me from my favorite past-time.
So, 2 weeks ago we took a weekend trip up to Eureka to visit D's grandma and meet up with D's parents who flew in for a visit. After driving through a freak California snowstorm in Willit's and many an icy road, we arrived at the "Blue Hotel" (so named by my nephew). It is the family favorite because of the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub and delicious, free breakfast. I also enjoy it's proximity to the Old Navy outlet. We are all still trying to figure out why on earth there is an Old Navy outlet in Eureka, but it is great for us!
We had a fabulous weekend of visiting, shopping, beach-combing and eating. The only drawback was Calvin throwing up all over the floor in the hotel room and being generally grumpy for the rest of the day, but who can blame him? When we got home Sunday night, everyone went to bed and then Henry woke up and threw up for the remainder of the night. The next morning David andI were feeling quesy, but by Tuesday morning we were all feeling good and ready to face the aftermath of a trip and being sick.
Here's to life with kids!

It does keep them humble and it makes them slow down and have to take care of them. Doesn't that sound awful?
Phoebe, any luck with your mysterious blog worm?

(Dumb & Dumber was on TV last night.)
Still no luck
