Follow the Yellow Brick Road!

Henry made his debut last Friday evening in a performance of the Wizard of Oz. He did a marvelous job as a Tin Man and he even knew most of the words to the songs. The show was put on by the Kinder Choir ( kids ages 4 1/2-6) that he has been in since the end of January. I must say that the highlight of the evening was when Henry needed to go to the bathroom right in the middle of a song. We raced off stage and went and the as we were coming back in t he director was saying "Where's Henry?" It was time for his one brief lone nad he was nowhere to be found. Finally someone yelled out, "He's in the bathroom." So much for discretion.
I am not ready to become a stage mom, but all in all it was a very good experience for the whole family. Maybe we'll be back for more next year.

I must say, we were very proud of Henry, too!! He took it very seriously and did a fabulous job. The bathroom incident was a highlight for sure! It was very well done and age appropriate. All the kids new the songs really well, which made it especially entertaining. Thanks for including us!

Hey Lolly, thanks for coming. Henry was so excited that his friends got to see him perform.
