We had a successful Halloween event. Fall Carnival at Henry's school, Fall Festival downtown with free doughnuts and hot cider (Which we desperately needed) then home for Cron Chowder adn some neighborhood Tick-or-Treating. Calvin was thrilled once he figured out that you got candy at each door and Henry was happy to be Luke Skywalker. I was glad to be dressed up as well. I felt like a kid and it was nice.
However, I have to say on the record, that it was the COLDEST Halloween that I have ever experienced. But it did not rain, so I was happy. David thinks I am pathetic, but you can take the girl out of California but you can't take California out of the girl.

You guys look great - and it does look a bit chilly!! Guess I will bring all the wool sweaters I never get to wear when I come!!
LOVE the Halloween spirit! You guys look awesome!! Sounds like a fun day. We missed you around here.
Phoebe, you make a darling Princess Leia! I think I was Princess Leia in kindergarten, I can't remember...No, wait, it was just my mom putting my hair in the Princess Leia buns. I was a pirate in kindergarten. Anyway, I love it when families dress up together. Hooray for Halloween!
You are always so creative when it comes to family costumes. Very well done- you guys all look great!
Mom, do you recognize the Pumpkin candy bag?
You guys look great! I showed Ryan your picture and he asked me why we didn't dress up as a family. Maybe because I've never been able to convince him to wear a costume. We'll have to try for next year;).
you guys look so awesome! I love the costumes! It looks like you had a fun Halloween. I can relate on the cold thing. We went to Utah last Thanksgiving and I shivered the whole time... it was miserably cold for me. I need the warmth!
ph--maybe you'll have to think of a family theme for us for next year. i don't get into the halloween spirit well enough---except for the treats part of it . . . my kids decided their costumes 15 mins before we left for the halloween party. yikes.
you guys rocked in the costume department - and it's okay to get cold.
It was a chilly 50 down here.
You guys look great! YOur husband grew up in IF right? That explains why he thinks you are pathetic. We had snow on the 24th of Oct up here. And it was literally freezing Halloween night!
