I have a love/hate relationship with flylady - especially now that I am wondering where some things are that I could use and Ryan says, "I think you threw them out when you were really into FlyLady!" oh well! It does keep the house clean.

I haven't really gotten into her but I do love cleaning and organizing. Does she recommend doing a load or laundry a day? That's something I've been wanting to try vs. once a week do all the laundry.

I don't want to clean the sink. not every day, and not ever!

Chrissy, you need to learn the joy of a shiny sink. So worth it.
Denae, Flylady says to start witha load a day (Folded and put away) and then at some point, if you want, move to 2 days a week. I prefer a load a day. It actually doesn't back up that way.
Jessi, I hear you on purging everything. However, I think most of my missing stufff is missing from the move, not Flylady.
Bonny, thanks for the original Flylady tip.

I think I have to force myself to fly-lady my life. I think she'd be good for me, if I'd just give her a chance.

I just want to know how Henry knows FlyLady.

My sister swears by Fly Lady, especially the shiny sink tip. I have yet to investigate her...

Yes, Bonny is a good FlyLady missionary. I signed up for the e-mails once and couldn't handle the deluge, so I cancelled.

However, I do read her site from time to time and feel inspired.

On days that I work from home I generally shower first and get "dressed to the shoes" as she says--I am much more productive that way. If I stay in my PJs on work days then my computer time generally turns into blogging.

And also the shiny sink is one thing I have sort of kept up. I don't actually shine it, but before I go to bed I always clear out the dishes and give it a good rubdown. It makes waking up in the morning so very much nicer. (If I didn't have a dishwasher I'm not sure how good I'd be at this. It's a frightening thought, actually)

Good for you for cleaning out your closets. We've only lived here 6 months and I dread opening mine already.
