Yesterday I came home from swimming lessons to find a much anticipated package on the doorstep from jumpupanddown.
Inside was the diaper bag that I had commissioned. Commissioned in the sense that Jessica offered to make another bag in an Amy Butler fabric of my choice. Mostly because she's a good friend like that and realizes that I love to have choices. The bag is perfect and has a darling contrasting fabic inside.
I love the unexpected.
But the icing on the cake was the gift she enclosed for me and the soon to be here babe.
A diaper wallet of her own design.
I really need to start sewing again, but with friends like this, who has the motivation?

Glad you like it and I love your coordinating font colors!
I'm thinking I need a Jumpupandown bag too!!
LOVE it! I may need to have a baby just so I can carry one too...
That is the cutest bag!! Maybe someday I'll get one. You do have very crafty friends. I would not feel motivated to sew either, if I were you.
Lucky lucky you! I love it! I need one of those too. My Stork Sak is nice, but it's soooo big. That one looks perfect!
super cute - i need friends who sew.
wow! love it!
Does the bag seem big enough for a "church bag"? You know, scriptures, lesson manual, etc? I can't quite tell but I really like it and I need a church bag. Is it too small?
Phoebes,
THe bag is awesome and Jessica is awesome. I am totally getting a bag from her soon, and maybe I'll commision one.
You rule Jessica! (you too, Phoebe)
I have been meaning to go on Etsy and get a diaper wallet/changing pad, since currently I'm using a repurposed makeup bag for diapers/wipes and changing T on paper towels or burp cloths or whatever else is handy. I've seen lots of them on Etsy in the past and was just going to go random, but I think perhaps I shall be making a visit to Jump up and down! Gotta love the free advertising that is the blogosphere.
Love the diaper bag too. Amy Butler's stuff is so fun. I never got around to buying a diaper bag because the purse I was using when Theo was born was big enough. It will probably wear out soon though and I will need to be buying one. (That's Forever 21 for ya, fab and cheap and not built to last.)
WOW! That's an amazing bag!
