Day 4

It was worth waiting a few extra weeks for a haircut so that I could incorporate a visit to Britt in my 30 days of 30. She thinks my new haircut a little punk rock, although it is hard to see in these pictures. An edgy new look seems appropriate for an almost 30 year old.

I like it! I need to do something like this - I'm going to a new stylist on Monday. The last one gave me a 10 minute terrible haircut last time and I decided I was done with her. I'm a little worried, because this new one is just as inexpensive (it must be Idaho), so I hope she does a better job. She does a really good job on my friend, so hopefully she can handle my crazy, thick, wavy, mind of its own hair.

Anyway, I guess the point of all this is I think you pick such great haircuts and you have such good luck with great stylists. Do you have any advice for what I should do with my hair? I feel totally disenchanted with the idea of it all - every time I try to do something that I think will look great, it doesn't. I don't know if it's me or the stylist. Last time I knew it was a the stylist - my hair takes way more than 10 minutes to cut properly!

Well, pass any advice you might have on to me and I promise not to leave such lengthy comments in the future. Enjoy your new do!

I love the rock/edgy look. It's what keeps 30's from being dull. You may take your kids to soccer (or other activities) but no need to have soccer-mom hair! This totally works for you.
