The Mae is for Mae-hem

This little girl is still as charming as ever. And it's a good thing she is because this little charmer is turning into a charming daredevil!

In the last two weeks she has swallowed a magnet, a rubber band, run away while cackling gleefully, dumped every food item she can get her hands on, has perfected her most annoying screech, cut her gums open on a shopping cart, and figured out how to climb onto the ledge that separates our dining room from our living room.

I now have the pediatrician on speed dial and I am worried that we have the makings of a living legend on our hands. Which is fine with me, if I am able to keep her LIVING!

On the upside, Agnes is really good at cleaning up her messes, she happily puts her garbage (or gift cards) in the trash can, she makes a variety of animal noises, she says "please, I love you (sometimes), bye, hi, dad, mama, night-night and here", she pats her bottom if she needs her diaper changed, has the cheesiest grin, sits whenever she realizes someone is taking her picture, and she has perfected her tightest hug.

She brings such joy that I tend to overlook the crazy antics. Except, of course, when I am trying to decide if I need to go to the Emergency room NOW or if it can wait until the morning.

Sounds like Scarlett has a twin! I am very afraid for this next one!

Magnets are pretty serious things to swallow, aren't they? I consider myself very lucky that even with two boys, I've only had one emergency room trip, so far...

I love this post and these pictures. I especially love the red poppy shirt.

She IS a charmer! We have a daredevil at our house too, lets make sure not to leave those two alone in a room together . . . who knows what will happen!

She is really darling. No doubt a charmer. I guess she is challenging the idea that girls are more mellow, and easier to keep up with, huh?

so cute is she - maybe you should take a super advanced first aid class - you know learn how to do stitches and what not.

What would we ever do without our spunky and clever girls? Love the pictures!

I particularly enjoy the "winky" picture at the top. And, I love her front teeth. A lot.

How did they fix the magnet thing??

Ian is just like her! I had to take him for a full chest x-ray after we never found the tip of a screw driver he swallowed. Turns out it was no longer there. Must have passed through at some point. Funny kids. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I actually got on to wish you happy birthday! I hope you have a good one. Let us know how it goes.
