The Happiest Place on Earth

I am assuming that you all are ready for the picture of the creepy cyclops doll to be moved down a few posts. I was looking through pictures and realized that I pretty much skipped over all of Christmas. Don't worry-it was because of terrible tragedy or major family rifts, I just haven't taken the time to do it.
This year Santa gave us all tickets to Disneyland, which was perfect since we had very little room in our suitcases for anything else. An even better gift was the fact that Agnes stayed behind at Grandma's to be looked after by loving family members-or Uncle Robbie, let's be honest. Many of you may know of my great love for the 'Land. I was amazed that I am able to love it even more! We had such a great time. It was sunny and cold and the lines were not nearly as bad as I thought they would be. We were able to get in everything that we wanted to and everyone came home happy. I am already planning my next trip down.

The kids really wanted to go on the merry-go-round. Or maybe I pushed them to go on it since the line was 5 minutes long.
Calvin in Honey I Shrunk the Kids feature. Not surprisingly he lasted for 30 seconds before totally freaking out.
I am quite surprised we ever met up with Mickey. I didn't see any characters at all during the entire day.

Tom Sawyer Island-fun place. In all my goings to Disneyland I have never ventured across the river to check it out. It was great for the boys to be able to run around.

Autopia. Will I ever tire of this ride?

Another shocker (not really)-Calvin not enjoying any loud noises. It did make for some interesting experiences in an amusement park.
Buzz Lightyear-What did we do without you all of these years?
Calvin's favorite rides-Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear and the Rockets
Henry's Favorite rides-Space Mountain, Matterhorn
Phoebe's favorite rides-Do I have to pick?
David's favorite rides-He was just good about pretending that he was having fun, since the rest of us love it so much. He would rather be at Magic Mountain.

Magic Mountain doesn't exist anymore, I think. Maybe it does still but I think it went bankrupt.

It's there - the 8th grade class trips seem to be keeping it afloat!!

Glad people love Disneyland so they want to come and see us along with!

Augh man, you're making me wish we would have done when we were down!

I'm glad to see Calvin enjoyed it even with the loud noises. I keep wanting to go in the middle of the winter and beat the blues, but I worry if Peter would even like it. Maybe next year...

If you would have told me in advance, I could have hidden in your suitcase.

What a great family present!

I've never been a Disney nut but it sure was fun having annual passes a few years back. My ex and I would go on a Wednesday night for dinner and a ride or two. Such fun!
