Agnes finally figured out the whole shadow thing. It was fun to watch, but sad to realize that she didn't know what it was!

It's a natural when teaching my students about "foreshadowing" in literature.
I always understood the concept, but my students were unclear - when we do shadows, they get it.

I was trying to show Theo his shadow the other day. I don't think he quite got the concept. It hasn't been too sunny around here either...spring is coming, though!
