I love it when General Conference falls on Easter Sunday. I love actually attending church meetings on Sunday, too, but it was so nice to let everyone sleep in, find some eggs and sit in our jammies while we watched Conference on TV and David made a fabulous breakfast. What was even better is that now we have DVR and I just started recording it, so we didn't have to rush through the Easter Basket fun to watch it when it really started. And now I can go back and re-watch those talks where I kept thinking, "I really should be writing this down!". Anyway-we had such a big breakfast and we had way too much candy, so we only had breakfast and dinner yesterday. To make it even better, I skipped the fancy stuff and we had scalloped potatoes (out of a box), ham steaks and frozen veggies for dinner. All I can say is that everyone was happy and dinner took a total of 30 minutes to prepare. Could I ask for a better way to spend a holiday?

as much as i love a good ham, the word "hamsteak" really grosses me out.
I agree, Hannah. Hamsteak is a gross word. What I really wanted to relay, though, is the fact that I couldn't have gotten an easier way to fix Ham than frying something up in a pan on the stove top!
I would say you are very smart!! My sister and I have a running tradition, that instead of a new dress for Easter, we should get new "conference pajamas" that we when we stuff ourselves with too much candy, we are still comfy in our PJ's! Your kids are getting so big!
Looks delightful! I loved Easter on Conference too. It was so relaxing and wonderful. I think we should have conference at least twice as often and always coinciding with a Sunday holiday (next Conference...Mother's Day?) - what do you think? Should we send a letter to Pres. Monson?
The pictures are too cute... and I agree completely with the pj's, conference, and Easter thing! Loved it. BTW, I love the picture of Agnes. She is so happy with her Dora Band-aids! Too cute!
