Nested

The baby now has a spot to sleep, a spot to be rocked and a spot to be changed and dressed.
Looks like we might actually be ready!

and, can i fly you out here to paint my kitchen table? i am inept at painting anything but especially furniture. how many coats did you do? i am thinking it's going to take me a good week between all the sanding and priming and sanding and coating and sanding and finishing.

I have to give credit to David who did all of the painting!
However, my tip for painting furniture is to use spray paint. It's easier and you get better coverage and it dries faster. And you have so many fewer choices in colors that it makes the color choosing process easier (for me anyway).

good luck with the csection and everything that goes along with it. Just enjoy the baby and don't worry about everything else. I am really excited for you. You will do great! Keep us posted on your new arrival.

Aha, I forgot about the pregnancy excuse. That saved me from painting the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom when I was pregnant with Theo. (Matt did it.) I suppose I will just have to wait until I'm pregnant again and then ask Matt to paint the table. :) And the hall, and our bedroom and bathroom, and the other bathroom.
