Tales of a fourth grade nothing

Henry started school last week. He's a cool fourth grader now and he has the shoes to prove it. Why does my 9 year old have cooler shoes than I do? I must rectify this before the situation worsens and I start wearing Naturalizers and go mall-walking in the mornings (not that I haven't already done that, but when you live in Oregon you do what you have to do).

What a fantastic kid!!! Those are way cool shoes, and he is just a little shining light in Primary!
Maybe 4th grade will treat my boys that well when they get there. :D

I went to the mall early the other day thinking that all the stores would be open so I could buy a birthday gift, but the one I wanted was still closed, so we waited around for half an hour for it to open--Emmett played on the rides that I didn't have quarters for and I watched a bunch of people walk around as quickly as they could and I wondered what on earth they were hurrying to. Then I realized: mall walkers. I love that you have been one ;)

Sully is so cute in the previous post and I like David's goatee. Happy School Year, Henry!

He is absolutely darling! Look out fourth grade girls. His shoes are super styling too. Tanner would be loving them!

Our school would never allow my children to wear shoes like that. There are some thing about uniform schools that I don't like...however only one child has shoes that meet the requirements and they haven't said anything about the black and red on the boys shoes so maybe I shouldn't complain.
