4 months!

Things of note at 4 months:
Sully is now 15 pounds!
He likes to drool, spit up, smile and furrow his brow.
He still has a sensitive tummy- poor guy (and poor me).
He has discovered that he has feet at the end of his legs. He still hasn't figured out that they actually belong to him, but he now knows how to grab them.
Remember the bloggersation we had a while back? (You can read it here) After much consideration we decided to give it a whirl and Sully is in cloth diapers about 75% of the time. It's not nearly as stressful as I thought it would be, plus I feel like I now relate to my mother and grandmothers on a completely different level!

Hey, I Cd'd with my last one and it was a lot easier then I thought. www.diaperswappers.com has some good deals if you need to bulk up your stash. Plus, I ended up really liking the plain old prefolds with a cover, which were the cheapest alternative. Good luck!!!

So cute - excited to see all of you soon!!

And your cloth diapers are so different than cloth diapering as I knew it - pins and "bubba" pants for starters!

But I commend you for your efforts!!

ok, thank you for linking to the diaper post so i could read harry's comment... i think it got lost in the crowd.

"This is biased Harry F. here. We use disposables from Cost-a-lot-co. I used to be concerned about filling up the land fills, but not anymore. With our latest baby we started piling up the used diapers behind the garage next to the wood pile. Every two months (or when the pile gets too big) we have all the primary kids over and have "snowball fights" with the used diapers. What a hoot! I've never seen kids have so much fun, especially if its been raining and the gel packs are completely full and ready to burst. Usually we do it over at the park across the street on a Friday (city workers come and clean the park on Saturday). I've found it to be a great tool to help my kids "bond" with the other kids, at the same time it has been a great oportunity to teach the kids about reusing. Anyway, just an idea I thought I would pass it on."

thanks harold.
