Recipe for a successful wife and mother

Nightly Bagpiper

Amazing breakfast every morning

Lazy river and lounge chairs

The Bestie

Poolside service and free drinks thrown in because the waiter thought we were completely crazy (strangely, most of the resort staff and in the entire town, for that matter, thought we were a bit off)

large sunhat

Daily run to Mickey D's for the best soda in town

room side view of a random wedding

frolicking rabbits

throw in a few amazing restaurants, bizarre shopping experiences, getting lost, broken luggage, pretending to workout, hot tub, red vines, good books, People Magazine, no responsibilities, late night talks, and PERFECT weather and you have the best 5 days a lady could ask for!

David and the kids did great holding down the fort at home.  He only had to take care of 3 sick kids, playgroup, preschool, carpool to the Science Bowl, 5 baseball games, and two birthday parties.
 I wish I could say I missed everyone, but I didn't.
Well, maybe I missed David a little bit.
Until next year, Arizona, until next year.
Oh wait, I'm not sure I mentioned that part to David!

Too bad 5 days felt like 5 minutes, although not the wedding, that felt like 5 hours. Phoebs your the best girl trip pal a tired "young" mom could ask for, perhaps we should suggest a bi-yearly trip to our hubs......

Looks like a bit of heaven! So glad you could get away and enjoy! It does make for a great wife and mom to get away for a bit!
