This lamp is currently for sale at Pottery Barn for $129
I bought it yesterday at a yard sale for $5.
I just had to look past the HIDEOUS maroon shade they had put on it,
disguising it's true beauty to the world.
Nothing quite like a successful day at the yard sales.
Now if I could only find everything else that I need for 95% off of retail...

wow, that is a find! So are you stripping the paint, or repainting it? or embracing the hideous maroon...
I should clarify. The lamp is white, the lampshade they put on top was maroon. It was hard to see how great the lamp was when you saw how gross the shade was. Easy fix!
You seem to find bargains that no one else can find. Perhaps it's a gift. One you should treasure!!
