It rained 25 of 31 days in March.
Now they are forecasting that it should stop raining on Wednesday and not start up again until Thursday afternoon. WHAT? A whole 24 hours of no rain. I better get ready.
Another testament that I should not live in Seattle.
Where is my beautiful April weather? I am not going to be able to wear my new Easter dress. Maybe I can just recycle my Christmas dress. The weather is about the same as it was then.
Another problem that this weather is creating is that my kids have started to grow out of their winter clothes, so today Henry wore shorts and 3 t-shirts to school.
Pardon the whine, I think I am just cold. Better go put on another layer and turn up the heat.

I feel the same, Phoebe. We have had the same weather. We had one nice day yesterday and I took full advantage of it. We had a picnic and took Jake lunch. Now it's back to rain. I will sympathize with your misery. I am ready for summer!
blasted rain! it makes driving a bit of misery, going anywhere not fun, and outdoor play non-existent. bring on the sun!
oh--i haven't heard about your new Easter dress.
I could enjoy the rain if I could stay home and sit by the fire and read. It does really strange things to students - they stand in it and get soaking wet and then come in the room and create large puddles on the classroom floor - the heater kicks on and it gets real steamy - yeecch!!
We are finally in the spring time mode here in Kiev. After months and months of freezing weather, it is great to have it in the 50's with no rain. Sorry about all the rain that you are having. I am in my spring coat now and that feels great. You are all welcome to come on over.
I second the growing out of winter clothes. I just keep telling the kids, hang in there you will be wearing your shorts and sandals soon. Or maybe that's what I keep telling myself?
we only had a few days of rain, and I'm ready for the sun.
Alice - I'd LOVE to come visit you guys. I need to be independently wealthy so I can do whatever I want.
I would love to come visit you too, Alice. I want to take a central/eastern Europe jaunt so that I can visit the old Vienna haunts and also see you guys in Ukraine. Also Matt and I have never been to Poland or Russia. However, we are still recovering (financially, that is!) from our western Europe jaunt last fall. Probably will be for awhile...
