2) If you haven't read "Princess Academy" by Shannon Hale (LDS author and winner of the Newberry), you are missing out.
3)It's been raining. But the sun comes out in the afternoon and it is really nice.
4) David joined the PTA and attends the meetings. Hooray! One less thing for me to worry about. I think he'll be presidentin a few years.
5) Calvin and Henry have started sleeping in past 8am. Why? Henry got stuck with AM Kindergarten and summer is over.
6) We have 2 different sets of friends coming to visit us this weekend. Yippee!
7) Gilmore Girls Season 6 came out on DVD today. Are you watching?

You could do PTA too - kind of a date night thing!! I noticed that this year at the Book Fair, there have been several dads doing the duty shifts. It's good to have them there.
And David would be a great PTA President. We had a male president one year at Clifton - he did a pretty good job - interestingly enough, he was less realistic than most women are!
I read "Princess Academy". Very good.
Jeff hasn't joined the PTA, BUT. he was room dad for Melissa's 3rd grad class and did a great job with all the parties and the kids loved him. (it fit into his schedule that year, it hasn't any other darn!)
Of course your kids are sleeping later. Thats how it goes. Also, it might be because you are more north and it gets dark earlier and stays dark longer in the winter (opposite effect in the summer, you will feel like they never sleep!)
Just finished season 6 on regular tv. Am happily anticipating next tuesdays season premier. I still need to watch season 2,3 and 4.

"Princess Academy" is very wonderful but I must confess that I love "Goose Girl" and "Enna Burning". They are my favorites by Shannon Hale. "Goose Girl" is just beautiful.
