Where am I?

Do you remember that scene in Mr. Mom where Michael Keaton is dropping his son off at school? You know the one where the boy keeps saying, "You're doing it wrong, Dad!" and then the parking lot parent comes over and schools him in the way of the dropoff?
Well, that was me this morning, except it was the Principal that had to give me the instructions. I have driven Henry and the neighbor boy to school quite a few times, but I have always walked them in. However, my neighbor (who carpools with me) told me that she has been letting them walk in by themselves and she waits by the crosswalk. So I asked the boys how she has done it, and then I followed suit.
Apparently they told me wrong.
So now I know. And tomorrow will be better and I won't be getting crusty looks from other parents.

I remember the year that Dr. Grant decided to "train" all the parents on how to enter and exit the parking lot on Alta Vista. I usually never drove there - walking was too easy - but they made quite a project of it.

It's important though - I'm convinced a kid is going to have to get killed before anyone will do anything about the congestion in front of Clifton. I've even called the police and complained - but to no avail!

People here are CRAZY in the drop off line. I mean they get really mad if you mess up, it stresses me out!

You may have just cemented a place in Tyler's heart forever. Mr. Mom is quite possibly his favorite movie ever. I don't really get it, but he was certainly excited to read your reference. I'm glad you're all straightened out now!
