Despite Calvin's 5 tantrums today (he's only been up for 4 hours!) I found some things to be happy about.
~Drive-Up banking at my local bank. Not just the ATM kind, the real, Utah-style, live teller at the window kind.
~ A successful Mia Maid activity last night. Ducth Oven cooking.
~Hanging flower baskets on every street light. (More about that at a later date)
~ Sunny, beautiful, 80 degree weather.
~My OMSI pass. Come and visit and we'll take you there.
~Dewey's Frozen Custard. Come and visit. We'll take you there, too.
~A successful, first Parent Teacher Conference. Henry is perfect, just as we suspected.
~Playmobil
~ Christmas Shopping
~ New season of Gilmore Girls
~ My Yahoo! customized radio station.
~ The fact that I could list 20 more things.

Makes me want to get back to my students!! I love them - it's the grown-ups who give me fits!!
i must admit that i shopped the playmobil website last night. those darn 1-2-3's for giz and i just know that leah will live for the family with the stroller, the dog family, and the mother and baby. i love some of the furniture/rooms in the modern family, but i don't even want to get started with that set. maybe when my kids are all grown and gone so i don't lose all the pieces.
let's see---what's making my day? leah just came up and gave me and esther a big hug and said "i need my girls."
A succesful baby shower for Paola with pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and butternut squash soup--hum, imagine that, food again. Ringing in the Fall!! Can't wait for Apple Hill and Bishop's Pumpkin Farm (though I'm not excited to have to go on a weekend...afternoon kindergarten, wait Wed. he goes in the morning!!).

With little kdis, I'm a fan of drive-up anything! I wish the bagel shop had it. And a dry-cleaners. If only Trader Joes could take my order in advance and let me drive-thru for it! :) Oh, and my favorite restaurants... mmmmm...
