Boise: Part Five (the journey ends)

I think this is how we all feel after 4 days jam-packed with family fun. We stayed up late talking and playing games, we ate and ate and ate some more. Each morning Tammy and Miah made a full breakfast. Tammy made cream puffs Saturday night and Sunday night we enjoyed Crepe Fest 2007. (The perks of having a sister-in-law and brother-in-law who served French missions.) Not to mention all of the Trader Joe's treats I felt compelled to bring.
Our kids were great. Calvin, however, likes to get up and wander around when he is supposed to be in bed. This is how we found him Sunday night we we went to bed. In the middle of the living room floor.
The kids had fun with their cousins and their aunts and uncles and their grandparents. It is really nice that Jeff and Melanie moved to Boise, too. Two birds with one stone, I like to say.
It was great to get away to celebrate. It was great to drive our roomy new car. It was great to have a few hours each way to sit and talk to David. It was great to feel the baby kick like crazy every time I sneezed. It's great to have family that you enjoy being around. Life is good.
Happy Birthday David!

Sounds like a great trip! I love trips - just hate the packing and unpacking - and going back to work!!

We found Toby like this one time, sleeping in the hall, just outside the bathroom, with no pants.

Hey my parents were also in Boise this weekend. Ryan got a job with Micron and was house shopping with his new bride. Makes us Californians sick that there are even houses affordable enough for new graduates anywhere in the world.

Oh Janelle,
DL and I were both lamenting the fact that there are actually decent sized houses in nice neighborhoods for $200,000.
They just reminded us that there is a slight wage descrepency, but it just didn't make me feel better.

Nate, I'll bet Toby loves it when you tell that story! So funny.

Some of our really good friends just moved there and we've been wanting to go visit them. I like Boise. Your trip looks fun. BTW have you found out yet what you are having boy or girl? Or are you going to be suprised?
