What does a girl do when she has no computer to waste time on?

She makes curtains for the toy room.

She paints the dresser for the baby and attempts to get things organized.

She sorts and frames Henry's art work from his Kindergarten year.

She hangs up the class art project from Henry's Kindergarten class.

She paints the doll cradle that Grandpa Clayton made for her and washes the doll clothes because Calvin has become obsessed with the Baby Huggums.

She enjoys a fabulous visit from Sarah and Max during which they enjoy far too many trips to Burgerville.

She paints the patio chair and actually plants some flowers which have survived 2 weeks now.

She does some shopping and hits a few sales.

She makes new art work for her bedroom.

And she makes some really bright yellow curtains for her bedroom. The jury is still out on these, but they will have to do for now.
Overall it was a productive week, but I am very happy to have a computer again. Now I can get my FlyLady email updates every hour on the hour, if I want.

good work! you've got skills :)
you know, I've never painted anything. I'm intimidated to try though i *love* the look of your fresh-painted dresser.
Love all the home improvements - I look forward to seeing them in person - time is flying by!!
sheesh. you've been busy! everything looks great!
It all looks great - sometime I think it might be helpful for my computer to break for a few days.
Peter really liked a doll we got him before Ned was born, now he wants nothing to do with it. Maybe he figures he has the real thing now.
Well Phoebe, I'm glad to see that you didn't let The Man get you down. Or at least technology.
what in the? ph, if your computer remained broken for another week, you'd be giving martha a run for her moolah. i'm amazed and delighted by all of the fun things you did. somehow your energy is not passing through the computer to me. maybe i just ought to get pregnant and break my computer?!!?
good one rachel - and i, too, am impressed with all you've accomplished - and I like the framing of the kindergarten art work idea.
Wow, I'm jealous of the energy you have! You must be seriously nesting! I love the "pistachio" dresser and cradle. Sean painted Gretta's room that color while I was in the hospital after she was born. And the curtains are darling! You've inspired me to finally get out and buy my own sewing machine!
Agreed--maybe if my computer broke my home would be cuter.
More likely, I would just read a lot more books!
