Really?

It looks like I am officially on my own. Everyone has gone home, David is super busy at work, I went to a YW board meeting, Henry had his first soccer practice today, I went to the market with all 3 children, and I made dinner tonight for the first time in 7 weeks. (Although, I still have a few treasures tucked away in the freezer for those crazy days that will come.) I guess I am back, kind of.

Thank you to everyone who made this post-partum experience FABULOUS!

If you can blog it, I guess you are surviving. I don't have anyone except Dad to take care of and I don't have to take anyone to the market and I don't have a R.S. meeting until Sunday, but I've had a hard time getting in gear!

Maybe it's because I had to go back to work!! (School has started and the craziness has begun!)

Always a funny feeling when things settle down to "normal life" after craziness. Especially after 7 weeks of craziness! I am sure you will do great.

Love the new template! by the way.

Except, I looked at it at work earlier this evening and could only see "blue skies smilin'"--minus the "at me." Just FYI. Maybe it was my browser settings or monitor settings, or something.

I think it looks good both ways though!

such a cute new look! You've got to teach me some html tricks!

loved looking at all of the pics via your mom's blog. so fun!

and you haven't made dinner for 7 weeks? i had three dinners brought when each of my girls was born. you've got to teach me the trick for baby number 3.

Here is the trick.

Move next door to a fabulous woman who makes dinner for you every Wednesday night for 6 weeks as a baby gift.

Have your mom come for 2 weeks and make a few dinners to freeze.

Have your in-laws come for a week and make a few dinners to freeze.

Have your fabulous friends bring dinner.

Have the RS bring dinner for 4 nights.

Then go and get pizza or Chipotle a few times.

Enjoy feeling completely spoiled and loved.

Then the 7 weeks just fly by!

Adn Eliza, it must have been your computer at work. All the words are showing up here.

I think the art of bringing in dinners is getting lost - even in Mormondom!

Let's try to change things - and start taking in dinners to people we know and love - maybe it will start a trend.

You know, the "ripple effect!"

mom, you can bring me dinner anytime.

I agree with the dinner thing. With Kirsten and Cruz, not one person brought dinner. With Katanya, I got 2 dinners. I think it's a thing getting lost that needs to be restored.

Okay ladies, let's get this show on the road and start taking dinners - when they aren't even asked for!

I had lots of meals with Bonny and Harry - and we were in student wards. When Phoebe was born, there weren't any meals - and that was a regular ward.

About 3 weeks after she was born, a gal called and said she wanted to bring dinner that night - she just thought of it and wanted to do it.

It was great - it turned out to be the night Dad was going deer hunting, so I was really on my own - all that food was wonderful!

We even saved some for Harry!

Our current ward is very good about dinners.
