After much consideration, I have to admit I like a big, huge bow. I know that my siblings may not be on board with this one, but I have to follow my heart.
(I just can't get over her huge, blue eyes)
I should say SPIT UP, not just spit up. I am not talking about little dribbles of milk. I am discussing volumes of liquid regurgitated, often projectile.
Like her brothers before her, Agnes Mae is a spitter. So be careful if you get to hold her. I go through at least this many burp cloths every two days (I know there are others in the car, under my bed, in various church bags and purses). David and I figured out that we do around 25 loads of laundry every week.
3) How does it go from sunny skies and 75 degrees to raining and 55 degrees overnight?
Oh wait, I live in Oregon.
4) Did anyone else watch the season premier of House? It was good.
5) I am going out on a date with my husband tonight. I hope he brings flowers and holds the door open for me.

Big bows are a must, a necessity!!!!
Today it is 75 here and tomorrow it is supposed to be 55 and raining! Too bad that doesn't mean that we live closer...
And I say follow your heart - even if it leads you to big bows...if you're going to do it, you might as well do it in a big way, right?
If I remember correctly it was Y-O-U who drove me down to Danville to buy unearthly size bows for Elizabeths wild curls. Which was darling and are equally darling on Agnes.
Those bows were so darling on Elizabeth. Too bad I don't live closer to Sweetie Face.
And I think if you do the bow you have to do it big and it has to be the right one.
I never thought it would be so complicated.
Actually I am a fan of the bow also, but you are right, I think it has to be big or nothing. Particularly I like the gigantic peony headbands that have been in style lately. Although now that it's getting into fall and winter, what replaces the peony? A mum perhaps? A poinsettia?
My only rule is that it should be smaller than the baby's head. I have seen ones that are 1:1 in flower-head ratio. It makes me feel bad for the baby, like she'll topple over any second.
(Also I think bows and flowers look much better at a jaunty side angle rather than right at the top of the head.)
I would probably have been a bow fan, but your dad was definitely anti, so I didn't even "go there" if you follow my drift.
And Agnes would be gorgeous in a newspaper sailboat hat!
And I wanted to watch the season premiere of House - but I couldn't figure out how to get our T.V. to work and Dad was playing basketball!
(I know how now!)
Big bows are a must on that adorable child. Everyday requires a bow, and the best ones are at Sweetie Face! Except when a child loses that $4.99 bow and you have to throw up a little because of all that money down the drain...
estie LOVES this picture!~ she says "ohhh....it's baby emmes." now she's saying, "i want to see calvin on the potty!"
I am also toying with the bow, although her head is still so small that it looks a little bit ridiculous. I think I am going to like it and my husband who is anti-bow is just going to have to get over it.
Agnes Mae is such a cutie!!! I love those big blue eyes and cheeks that don't quit!
So I love the big bows. I am always on the look out for them for Abby. Where did you get that one? Big bows are a must.
