The Bonnet

Some of you may have been blessed to have remarkable seminary teachers. I certainly was. But how many of you were blessed to havea seminary teacher that can knit and that would send your firstborn daughter a bonnet as beautiful as this? She knew that I had admired this pattern in a book. However, I have no skills when it comes to any needle work.
I was thrilled to find it in the mail a few weeks after Agnes was born.
Can you believe the detail? How is it that you can make a design like this with needles?
She was so darling wearing it to church today. She may even have been distracting people from the actual meeting and it was the Primary Program.

Thank you Sister Cornwall!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I was one of the people who was distracted by the beautiful bonnet. Thomas was working really hard to get up to her . . . I think he wanted to taste the ribbons.

That is absolutely ADORABLE. You (or should I say Agnes) are lucky indeed! Such beautiful detail.

I don't see how EACH of your children can be that adorable. It seems against the odds. Worried about your next one! The bonnet is so cool, I wish every Sunday was pioneer day.

And let's not forget to thank Grannybabs for buying the book - at Phoebe's insistence that I would someday learn to knit!

I am blessed to have thoughtful friends who love my kids - and know how to knit!

I love it, I also love brown and pink, so that is even better!

Paige, your children are all cute, too, so I don't know what you are talking about.
Granny Babas- you always get credit!

Oh Yes, the beautiful bonnet. Somehow I didn't get to see Agnes on Sunday and I missed the bonnet. I am so dissapointed. I will look forward to the next showing.

The bonnet is darling, and her enormous bow today was darling too! How do you choose each day what her accesories shall be? I think you are struggling in this department!!!
