Reach out and touch someone

I know that each of you has a friend that you may or may not talk to very often. Maybe it's been months or even years. Since we have moved around quite a bit, it seems like we have quite a collection of friends. I am grateful for them. The Christmas card list gets longer, but that just means you get that many more in return. How fun!
Yesterday, I celebrated by catching up with a couple of my favorite people. It was great to have a chance to talk to them and remember how blessed I have been to have always found great people to surround myself with. Thank you.
Might I suggest that the next time you have an hour to kill, call someone you've been meaning to call for a long time. The housework and errands can wait until later.

I believe in this idea - and I practice it quite often - and it's always a great thing to do!

Often I sit down and write them a letter. Or send them an email.

I don't call a lot - I usually don't have their phone numbers handy.

But communication is communication.

Whatever works!

great Idea Phoebe! Having moved a bit myself we also have a long christmas(or as I call it 'Holiday') card list. I need to do better at keeping in touch with friends that have moved away.Or that I have moved away from!
