I love the Playskool Galactic Heroes Star Wars toys. I love them. They do not come apart, they do not have small pieces and they are cute and chubby. However, when I started this obsession, I did not realize that they were collectibles. Do you know what that means? It means that ever since Daisy ate the R2D2, I will not be able to go to Target and buy a new R2D2. And it means that when the kids have a great time playing with one of the ships and it eventually breaks down (as most toys do), I will not be able to buy a new one for $12.95. No, no, it will be $42.95. And it means that I will become obsessed with finding the Princess Leia that they made in 2004, because the one they made in 2007 doesn't really look like Leia, it just looks like a smaller soldier. You see, she is in "commander disguise" in the 2007 edition. And I don't think the boys even care if they have Leia or not. But I care. Especially since Agnes has joined the family. The women need better representation in our toys.
So I'm off to check on my eBay listings. Please do not start collecting Princess Leias or R2D2s until I have already found mine because I will just keep trying to outbid you.

Those are totally awsome toys. I seem to have more girl toys and Drake seems to be fine with his swords and guns. Good luck!
Haha! Ok, ok, fine! I'll let you win THIS bid for Leia...
These are adorable! Lance would have loved them.
Thanks for the heads up, I will back off of my bidding..for Agnes' sake.. of course :)
Hey, I sent an email to you with a link to a craigslist posting for these guys. You probably have them all but the set seemed reasonably priced. I'll keep looking for the 2004 Leia.
There's a place by my house..it has everything. I'll take you...but it requires hanging out after. I'm so with you about Princess Leah. It is serious. She's hardly to be found!
Janelle thanks for the tip! Ithink I may have foudn what I need, but I'll keep you posted.
