What was I doing ten years ago?Falling in love with David.
Ten years ago this week he asked me out for the first time. We have different versions of this story, but my retelling is the most accurate, of course.
He worked at the HBLL in book repair and I worked in Circulation (this leaves us open for some great jokes). His roommate bought tickets for The Forgotten Carols and told David to find a date so they could double. I was skeptical, but we had a great time and have pretty much spent every day together since then. So basically, even though I considered myself not to be the stereotypical BYU Co-ed, I turned into the stereotypical BYU Co-ed. I met David at the library, went on a date to a Michael McLean concert, and was engaged 3 months later.
The moral of the story is, don't be afraid of stereotypes. Embrace them, move on and be happy!

Congratulations! Reading your post made me remember the first time Felipe asked me out! You and David invited me over for dinner on a Sunday evening at your little place on 9th East, it was beef stroganoff and it was yummy! When I returned home that evening, Felipe had left me a message to give him a call!
I also meant to say I love that pic of you and David! Whoever took it captured you both very well!

Congrats on 10 years! It is quite an accomplishment. We are right behind you! Can you believe it all began at the HBLL? I loved Circulation-even though I complained about it for the whole two years i worked there! Congrats again you guys!
