It's the thought that counts, right?

I planned to have this great post about the 10 year anniversary of our engagement and post it on the actual date of our engagement, but I forgot and it is now a day late. I just wanted to make sure that you all realized that not much has changed over the past 15+ years. I am still late for everything. Including our wedding (kind of), but that is a different story. Here we are on that fateful night.

David still has that shirt. I can't bear for him to part with it.
Here is the picture that I mailed to a certain missionary to

let him know that I was engaged.

And last but not least, here is the "formal" engagement picture that my mother wanted. I have always liked this picture, but it doesn't really look like us.

It seems sort of debutante-ish to me. Thoughts?

In honor of our one-day-after-of-our-10-year-anniversary-engagement I thought about actually wearing my engagement ring. But I didn't. With my luck the diamond would have fallen out and then it would have the the anniversary of me losing the diamond. I don't want to celebrate that one.
