Water, water everywhere

All this blog-talk about Earth Day yesterday has given me pause to think. What have I done for the Earth this year? Other than add a bajillion disposable diapers to the landfill.
I believe in starting small and then adding to when you get a chance. Last year was Canvas Grocery bags, this year was my fancy water bottle.

Isn't it cool? I am planning on getting them for each member of our family. You can check them out here. They are pricey, but safer and way cooler than the others. And pretty much indestructible. What more could I ask for? Never mind, I won't answer that.
I hope you have a better year this time around, Mother Earth.

I love a new cool toy! Is that a straw on top or just a funky lid?

what I was going to tell you at soccer last night before we got the CRAP beat out of us was that I really want to get a water bottle like yours. It would have been especially useful last night since I forgot any water at all. can I still have a coupon?

My lil sis has been a huge Sigg fan for a while. She is never without hers. The only downside is that they can get dented.

I've been thinking about getting a metal water bottle for a while now, looking at the different kinds, etc and finally decided to take the plunge. I decided on a Klean Kanteen. I want to get one for each member of the family, but I think ordering them all at once will disturb the budget. So maybe a couple a month.

Hey do Dave and the kids come watch you play? Do you practice?

I own canvas grocery bags (but forget to use them). I recently purchased a reusable water bottle (and then was informed that the number 7 on the bottom of it indicated it was made of harmful, possibly cancerous, material). I try to not run the A/C or heat (and then friends complain it's too hot/cold).

Mother Earth, I am trying!

Janelle- our team has been known to have 1 practice. One that I did not attend. David and the kids come and watch us when we have early games. Sometimes we play pretty late. Henry loves it and he thinks I am pretty cool now that I play a sport. He even gives me pointers, which I gratefully take. However, we are not eactly known for our skills. Our team name is The Leftovers and it is a pretty accurate description.

yeah Kelly, you need a fancy Swiss water bottle that isn't made of plastic. Although I didn't know about the whole plastic thing when I bought this one, so I was glad to hear that I made a safe decision. I guess now that I'm safe I'd better stop having my kids drink out of the pastic ones...

Ooh, I like this. I have been wanting to get a metal bottle anyway, what with all the plastic scares. I will check these out.
