You know that you have been dealing with sickness when you can say that you have almost finished the entire second season of Felicity in just 2 days.
Why Felicity do you ask? I ask myself the same thing and you had better believe that David keeps asking me why I am watching it. The reason is simple-I am easily influenced by my peers. And J.J Abrams. I mean, seriously, how good was Alias?
The fact is that more than one person has told me that Felicity is their favorite show of all time. These people have obviously never seen Gilmore Girls which is smarter, funnier and better dressed than Felicity. However, I have to admit that I am drawn into the story. It reminds me of my college experience. I like to think it was similar to Felicity's other than the fact that I was not in a big city, I didn't drink, and I didn't have two drop dead gorgeous young men battling for my affections (I just had one of those:).
So while our fevers rage, the cough persists and the energy level slumps, I can still think about life's big questions. Who should I be rooting for? Ben or Noel? Ben or Noel?

I have swine flu! And I have been watching Felicity as well!! I LOVE that show!!!
Perhaps I love Felicity so much because I watched it when I was in high school and college.
And I have to say that my answer is always BEN! but I have a soft spot for Noel too. Noel is hilarious in Junior Year; you are going to love him!
BTW I have thought to myself on numerous occasions that if I could meet anyone in Hollywood, J.J. Abrams would be up there on my wish list. Except I was thinking the other day that he would probably think I was a gigantic dork. So, I probably would meet Keri Russell instead. I love her. Definitely love Amanda Foreman too (the girl who plays Megan).
And, I sound really obsessed now, which I am.
Ben. Never question that one.
And I'VE MET KERI RUSSELL, HAHAHAHA
And Eliza, I think that J. J. Abrams is probably a big dork too. Just look at the evidence.
stop trashing felicity already. I mean seriously, I don't have a gun to your head making you watch it. Besides, I lived in NYC so of course I love it. I also hadn't seen Gilmore Girls yet. Llet's be honest - they are both great. and BEN!!!! I love him. I like Noel a lot but BEN. Don't make me think you are going to start choosing Mr. Bingley over Mr. Darcy.
Ben! Hope you are feeling better!
I've never seen either one - but I certainly recall you girls talking about both of them.
Hopefully I won't get sick and have to sit around watching anything!!
When we lived in the Cook Apts. in Centerville we watched a lot of Emergency! while the snow fell and the streets got icy.
Now you know how old I am!!
Ben. Always.
I loved Felicity. Even Mark got into it with me. My favorite thing about that show was that it inspired the gratuitous use of the greeting, "Hey..." by every other nighttime TV drama since Felicity.
I have no idea what the draw is to Felicity. I usually enjoy watching an episode or two of whatever passing fancy Ph is currently watching, but this one I can't do. I try, but I just can't. But then again, Ph wouldn't even watch a single episode of BSG.
I remember Emergency (loved it) - and I will put Felicity and Alias on my gigantic list of DVD's to watch when I am staying up late waiting for my children to get home. I am hoping I have at least a couple more years to wait for that.
Ben.
No wait, Noel.
No Ben.
....
I think.
(I'm in the process of re-watching them as well and just about finished with Season 2. Right now I'm in a Noel-phase but that will likely change by Season 4.)
I love Felicity too, but I think it has something to do with the curly hair connection. Although I will never cut mine that short!
Get well soon! We need to play!
Noel...hands down...until you get to the other seasons. That makes me want to get those at the library and relive it all. I used to love that show.
