I have to tell you about my nephew. His name is Porter, but it seems that most of the family calls him Hootie, which cracks me up. My kids call my brother, Harry, Huncle Harry Finn. That is funny also, but still not as funny as Hootie.
Dear Porter is my Birthday buddy, born 5 years ago on my birthday and on Calvin's due date, although Calvin chose not to make an appearance for two more weeks. I have finally forgiven him for that:) I was hoping that my niece, Ida, was going to join Hootie and I as birthday buddies, but she held out for another day and celebrates her birthday tomorrow instead. Such is life.
And I can't forget to include my other birthday partners- David's Aunt Deanna and Luke Perry, Hearthrob of my teen years. Happy Birthday!
