Agnes has become a little obsessed with birthdays. Since she realizes that she cannot celebrate her own birthday multiple times each year she has figured out that she has quite a few dolls and stuffed animals that can celebrate birthdays. It seems that these birthdays usually occur about once a week and she likes to involve as many neighbors and friends as she can. These parties must include cupcakes. gifts, singing and pictures. It isn't quite as labor intensive as it sounds, but it can certainly keep 3 or 4 little girls busy for an entire afternoon. My new philosophy is that this phase won't last long and then I will miss it, so for now I just make sure I have a cake mix and candles on hand at all times.

You know, Phoebe, Agnes is a girl after your own heart! I do miss that girl - tell her I'm planning a visit - just don't know when it is yet. But when I do, we will have a grand unbirthday party - now there's a concept she will love!!
