I may have fallen out of love with the Sienna. Not out of love so much as more in love with the Odyssey. On the Honda I can get the 8th seat AND heated leather AND dual sliding doors.
What is girl to do? I need some luxury, don't I?

I say Odyssey.
I had one and loved, loved, loved it. Then I went and had a set of twins and the "O", as we referred to it, was just not big enough for our big/little family.
The Odysseys now are even more fablous then they were when I had one. I have even thought about perhaps getting another after we are 5-point harness free.
I have heard great things about the Siennas too. It might just come down to color, options, or availability for you.
If the Odyssey is the only one with the heated leather seats, then to me, there is NO CONTEST. I have the heated leather seats in my Accord and it is without a doubt my most favorite feature about the car. All I gotta say is, "Toasty buns!" They are fabulous, and much less drying than hot air blowing on your face.

If we were going by name alone, I'd say Odyssey, definitely a cooler name.
(Since I really don't know anything about the actual cars)
Bonus points if that's the one with the heated seats. Pretty much always go for the heated seats. you'll never go back

The heated seats are the best. Go for those.
Since we have a broken car at the moment (and have to walk everywhere) I would say it really didn't matter as long as it got you there. Here the heated seats would be a necessity. I loved my mini van, (We had two: Ford Areostar and a Mazda MVP). Good luck

Don't get me wrong, the Sienna is really, really nice. It's just that I can'tr get the extras with the 8th seat. I figure I'll be driving this car for 10 years so I should get the extra seat and the extra, extras.
Many a morning have I longed for heated seats, esp here in the rainy Northwest.
I have an Odyssey, and I love it! I always swore up and down I would NOT own a minivan, but alas, I gave in. The ironic part is that I bought the van when we only had Emma. Little did I know we would have 3 girls in it! It has been the best van. No troubles whatsoever. We drove to Texas a couple of years ago, and it was super comfy, and holds lots of stuff, too. We have the DVD player with the wireless headphones, which is a neccessity for any long trip. And the heated seats ROCK! I have been giving the Volvo XC90's a good looking at the last couple of months, but I just can't bear to part with a paid for, nice car for a huge payment. Ah, the joys of being a practical parent.
PS We also bought the Yakima Rocket Box for the top to hold our golf clubs, and we have people tell us all the time how cool it looks on the van. It's a perfect match with the silver van and the silver box.
Get the odyssey. The Stupid Prize goes to Toyota for not arranging their options well.
