Thank You David! I was so lucky to be able to go down to San Diego for the wedding of one of my dear friends and former roommate, Sabrina! She is the last to get married and it was such a great experience to be there in the sealing room and see what an amazing man she found! It is true that you have to sift through a lot of junk before you find the treasure. Kevin makes her so happy and it reminds me taht we never know how our life will turn out. Some of the 8 of us got married at 20 and some of us at 30 and some served missions, some didn't. Some of us have 4 kids (!) and some only have 1. Who would have known when we all met in August of 1995 in Helaman Halls.
I made it through the flights and was able to see some high school friends and my sister and sister-in-law and even my parents for 30 minutes after they got home from Moab! I had a great time staying with Rachel, another of the roommates. I enjoyed In-n-out and Taco Lita.
I consider myself spoiled.

It's all about staying close to the old roomies!! After 44 years, we still exchange a round robin letter - I am attempting to convert them to our roomie http://hornehall.blogspot.com blog.
Okay Eliza, why didn't this link?
Thank you for the idea to have a blog for my hall. Gates Hall needs a reunion! I cannot think about anything that could make me happier. I have already considered a round robin, but blogging is so much easier.
so fun! I need a get-away weekend myself.
So good. I love my college girlfriends. We even have club meetings and a newsletter, which is funny since we all live in Provo still. Ha.
And Mom, it didn't link because you need to do special tags in the comment box. It's different than the blog post link.
hooray for weddings - we had a great time seeing you.
