Last night I went to our ward's Enrichment meeting. I have to admit, I was not enthused about going. I had been gone every night this week and I was feeling bad for David. However, being the good RS sister that I am, I went. And it helped that in EQ last week they lectured the men on supporting their wives' attendance at RS functions. Not that David has ever NOT been supportive, but he was very gracious about me going out for the 3rd night in a row.
I had a great time. I always do, but this meeting was well organized and I enjoyed the two classes I attended. Making Aprons and How to Avoid Financial Mistakes. There were 5 classes to choose from and they all looked good. And to top it off there was a dinner AND a chocolate dessert bar. You really can't beat that.

Today is the annual Fathers and Sons campout. DL left an hour ago with both children to go out to the coast for the night. I am enjoying hour 1 of my 24 hours of solitary freedom .
On that note, I am leaving now to run some errands BY MYSELF and then I will watch the episodes of Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars that I taped on Tuesday, then I will eat some junk food and go hang out with some of my gal pals.
Life is good.

So glad you can enjoy some alone time and that you had a good enrichment! You are making me jealous - our ward is still well....we won't go there. So, for now, I'll just have to love the church because I know it's true.
Phoebe, I would LOVE more info on the enrichment classes if you have a moment. And enjoy your night alone... that sounds heavenly!
